I had so much fun working with Hope and TJ. A few minutes after we jumped into the photos, I was taking her portrait, and ran up to her, gave her a big hug and exclaimed, “Girl, we are going back to the 1980s!” They both smiled and Hope said that that was what she had had in mind when she picked up her veil. They were two people after my own heart. Classy, fun, stylish, punk. It’s so great meeting and working with people like them… true to themselves and finding authenticity effortlessly. It could suffice to say that working with Hope & TJ as they eloped in Vegas was so lovely simply because they are Incredible and talented people with wonderful smiles, great personalities, and great style, but there is more to it than that, no doubt.
Early on, as they worked on planning their trip to Vegas, we connected over the phone and I really enjoyed the process of helping them plan their session with me. It was all about the pictures, the effortlessness of their love, and connecting with someone that could appreciate their energy, knew Vegas, and was easy-going. Being natives to Georgia and Florida, they came to my hometown from the Southern East Coast, and honestly, we felt right at home together as we shared our love for theater, film, and the wild coincidence that both my daughter and their daughter were born on the same day in 2023! They currently work as actors out in Orlando in theater and film, and as many of you may know, I mention often that I think that if I could go back in time, I would have been a thespian in my younger years. To this day, I like to think that it’s not too late!!
Sometimes the stars align and I believe my clients and I are usually connected in some cosmic way. I am thrilled to have been a part of their story, to have helped capture their love, and to see all the wonderful things they do in life! Congratulations you guys, it was a pleasure! <3
