A Four Hour Narrative
What a couple of cuties. Really, so beautiful and with huge spirits and great style. They were so much fun to work with. Their presence reminded me of people from the past, they were classy yet defiant, original, charming and in love with life.
Our connection started when I spoke with Meg after her inquiry. She was in the process of planning their Vegas Wedding and I think we connected at that perfect moment when I was able to offer her a sense of comfort, ease, and validation for coming to Vegas to do this.
Getting married is something that can make you feel really vulnerable in many ways. It’s not a game or about doing something because it’s easy, or a fad… on the contrary it’s your life, and in your hands it will always prove to be important to find the right people at all ends of it.
They did so much to come here, bringing their family and friends from around the country, finding and booking their chapel at Sure Thing Chapel, setting out for a reception space at Cheap Shot, and honestly, the biggest and most important meeting of it all – finding each other.
Their reception was gorgeous, led by Meg’s Mom, and it was pretty evident early on that they were wildly in-love. The reception was a great party with wonderful speeches, and some dancing under the neon stars on Fremont.
Shout out and big hugs to you both Meg & Austin, it was a pleasure meeting and photographing you both. Being your photographer made my heart a little bigger.
Happy New Year to you all and looking forward to seeing the things you do in this world.
